Speculation that the highly anticipated Nokia 5800 XpressMusic could be available in the UK this year has been heightened by the news that the handset will be released in the Spanish market before Christmas.
A company insider told NokNok that the mobile phone is set to be released in Spain on December 1st when the company will be hosting its Nokia World event in Barcelona.
This has fuelled suggestions that UK mobile fans could get their hands on the device before Christmas.
As well as a music player, the phone, which has garnered the nickname the Nokia Tube, houses a host of features including a 3.2 megapixel camera, embedded games and a slot for 16B SD cards.
Users are also set to benefit from unlimited access to the company's music download service Comes With Music.
The Nokia 5800 is the first-ever touchscreen operated mobile phone from Nokia and has been touted by many in the industry as a handset that could give Apple’s iPhone a run for its money in the competitive smartphone sector.
