Vodafone is to mark the launch of its Vodafone 360 applications service with two new Samsung touchscreen mobile phones optimised for the platform.
Earlier this week the phone network announced plans for its Vodafone 360 service, which integrates key social networking sites with an App Store-style online market for software.
In order to promote the platform, Vodafone has now confirmed the forthcoming launch of two new mobiles, namely the Samsung H1 and Samsung M1.
Both phones will have Vodafone 360 fully integrated into their user interfaces and will be branded with the service’s logo.
Features of the H1 include a 3.5-inch touchscreen, five megapixel camera with autofocus, HSDPA support for fast downloads and 16GB of onboard memory.
The M1, meanwhile, will boast 1GB of storage, HSDPA support, integrated GPS and a 3.2-inch touchscreen.
Both upcoming mobile phones will offer push email, geotagging of photographs and ten hours of talktime on a single full charge.
Price points and release dates for the handsets have yet to be confirmed.
