Nokia’s latest, and some would say greatest, entry into the smartphone market the Nokia X6 is set to be available from November 16th, according to online speculation.
The date for the handset apparently emerged in a Nokia blog concerning the forthcoming Rihanna live performance which will be streamed on the company’s handsets.
According to the posting, the gig will "coincide with the global availability of the Nokia X6".
Initial pictures of the X6 were notably well received by consumers and the tech press alike when it was first sighted in September at Nokia World, with many going so far as to dub the handset one of best designed mobiles ever from the Nokia stable.
Features of the phone, which will come packaged with Nokia’s Comes With Music service, include a massive 32GB of storage and HSDPA support for fast downloads.
A five megapixel camera is also installed, as well as Wi-Fi support and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Nokia’s other key handset launch in the run up to Christmas is the N900 smartphone, which is also set to launch on November 16th.
