Vodafone is waiving the £150 one-off charge on the BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9105, but only if you sign up this weekend (December 11th and 12th).
The handset is being offered completely free of charge when consumers sign up for the black edition of the messaging marvel before Monday on a 24 month contract at £20 per month.
And to sweeten the offer further, Voda is boosting monthly allowances on the contract too. Instead of the 100 mins it'd normally grab you, you’ll get 300 minutes. And instead of 500 SMS messages, you’ll be entitled to send as many texts as you like.
The latest in Research in Motion's BlackBerry Pearl range, the 3G 9105 edition offers the enterprise class email features you’ve come to expect from a BlackBerry device as well as the BlackBerry Messenger instant messaging service.
Also onboard is a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and video recording, 3G support for speedy web browsing, a full-featured media player, plus GPS and Wi-Fi support.
Unlike other BlackBerry phones, however, the Pearl 3G 9105 eschews the physical QWERTY keyboard that’s standard across the range in favour of a traditional numeric keyboard, augmented by RIM’s SureType technology.
