Nokia’s second-ever Windows handset, the Lumia 710, could be on sale as early as next month, reports suggest, as the Finns go all out to win back their once –assured place at the smartphone-makers’ top table.
UK retailer digital-phone.co.uk is now listing the Windows Mango-toting smartphone on its ‘coming soon’ page with a release date of January 6th, apparently becoming the first among the web’s handset emporia to break cover with a concrete release date.
If you’ve been eyeing the Lumia 710 since it was unveiled alongside the Lumia 800 earlier this year, you’ll know all about it. But in case you’re not au fait, it’s essentially a more compact version of its older brother, teaming a 3.7-inch LCD display with cuter looks.
Available in a selection of POP! colours, the Lumia 710 also rocks a 1.4 GHz single-core processor and a five megapixel snapper with LED flash and HD video recording.
