Tech fans are able to put more flesh on the bones of HTC One M9 rumours today, after snaps and an extensive spec sheet leaked online.
According to French site Nowhereelse.fr, the handset, codenamed Hima, will be home to a 1080p, five-inch screen and a beefy 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.
Interestingly, HTC is also rumoured to be dropping the UltraPixel camera for a 20.7-megapixel rear snapper, backed by a secondary 13.7-megapixel camera around the front for selfies.
The images, which show a prototype version of the One M9, suggest it will feature a design and premium metal build that will be very familiar to anyone who owns HTC’s current-generation flagship phone, the One M8.
However, changes do appear to be afoot with the camera, with HTC apparently opting to drop the Duo Camera fixture that features on the M8.
The One M9 is expected to land in March at Mobile World Congress, alongside a new top-end effort from Sony and Samsung's much rumoured Galaxy S6.
