Vodafone has begun taking pre-orders for the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, ahead of the phone’s official streetdate of September 25th.
The 6S is available to order now on Vodafone from £49 per month on a 24-month contract, with no upfront charge. That gets you unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 6GB of data per month.
If you want it on one of Vodafone’s Red Value Bundle plans, though, you’re looking at £49 per month, with an upfront charge of £59. That buys you unlimited call and texts every month and 4G of data.
Of course, the major sell with Red plans over standard Voda contracts is that you also get a choice of Netflix or Spotify Premium, Sky Sports Mobile TV or a NOW TV Entertainment Pass for 6 months too.
Want the iPhone 6S instead? Alas, it’s not available without an upfront charge. But there are some good plans about. The one we’d probably plump for is £41 per month with a one-off charge of £169 to cover the cost of the handset. Monthly allowances are 500 minutes, 500MB of data and unlimited texts.
Our pick of the Red Value Bundles is £54 per month with £69 upfront, with unlimited calls, unlimited texts and 4GB data, plus the same choice of entertainment add-ons and streaming services we mentioned above.
All Red-branded plans also include Wi-Fi calling, which enables you to make free calls over a wireless networks at home, when you're out and about and on the London Tube network.
Three months of unlimited data for free with Vodafone’s Test Drive promotion is included on all plans, including standard and Red Bundles.
If you fancy trading in an iPhone 5 or above for one of Apple's new models, Vodafone will knock £5 per month off your bill. It's worth nothing, though, that this only applies if you want to upgrade to a iPhone 6S in its 16GB and 64GB iterations or the 16GB model of the iPhone 6S Plus.
