US mobile manufacturer Blu has revealed its first UK phone, the Vivo 6. The mid–range Android handset comes chock-full of impressive features and is taking direct aim at the OnePlus 3.
In keeping with OnePlus's recent effort, the Vivo 6 has a 'premium' aluminium unibody design and boasts a capacious 5.5–inch screen with a full HD 1080p display. It’s powered by a snappy octacore processor, which is backed up by 4GB of RAM.
Storage–wise, there’s 64GB of internal capacity, with a further 64GB available via microSD, so there’s ample space for stashing movies and music.
Round the back, there’s a 13-megapixel camera, made by Sony, with an 8-megapixel effort around the front for selfies.
USB–C support means it's got a fast-charge mode too, with a dual SIM tray for easily switching between home and work numbers.
It runs last year’s Android Marshmallow software out of the box, although Blu has promised an upgrade to Android Nougat soon.
The Vivo 6 costs £240 SIM–free, but can be had for £185 on Amazon with today's Black Friday promotion.
