How we decided the winners

The Uswitch Energy Awards aim to independently ascertain how satisfied customers are with their energy supplier and the services they offer. All figures, unless otherwise stated, are from YouGov Plc. Total sample size was 17,580 adults. Fieldwork was undertaken between 28th March - 26th April 2023. The survey was carried out online. The figures have been weighted and are representative of all GB adults (aged 18+).

This year Uswitch has made significant changes to the awards in order to reflect the current market context. There is no leading award, and categories have been reduced to two (down from six in 2022) with the addition of a special commendation in 2023 only.
