iD is a subsidiary of retail giant Carphone Warehouse and launched in 2015. It’s based on Three’s network infrastructure, so is able to offer nationwide coverage.
Launched in 2015, iD Mobile promised consumers “capped plans for the lowest price on the market” and roaming plans that it claims “cover more European countries than anyone else”.
It uses Three's network to ensure customers get nationwide coverage and fast speeds.
iD’s customer support team can be reached on 0333 003 7777 from a landline or 7777 from an iD mobile. Opening hours are 8am-8pm every day of the week.
The iD site also features an online contact form. Or you can write to them at:
iD Customer Services, PO Box, 356 Southampton, SO30 2PG.
iD offers a selection of tariffs, all of which offer these benefits:
Inclusive roaming in 52 locations
All customers on iD Mobile SIM only and mobile phone plans allow you to use your UK monthly allowances of data, calls and texts in 52 locations in Europe and beyond for no extra charge.
iD Mobile allows customers to rollover unused data from one to another for free.
Customers can set spending limits for monthly bills for the UK and overseas, to avoid being hit with unexpected charges.
A buffer of up to £5 extra is available, however, which they can use when they need an extra allowance.
Caps can be adjusted with the iD Mobile app.
iD is based on Three’s 4G network, which offers extensive coverage and is set to cover 98% of the UK population by the end of 2015.
