Broadband provider BT is giving consumers the opportunity to save money when signing up for its OnLive service.

The firm has slashed the introductory price of the cloud gaming service, which is ordinarily priced at £6.99 per month.

For the first three months, UK households can now access 200 popular titles for just £1.99 per month - with no commitment to subscribe for a longer term.

"With OnLive, you can choose from over 200 games streamed directly to your computer, tablet, TV or smartphone, so there is no need for CDs or discs," BT explained.

"You can also watch live gameplay and even record Brag Clips to impress all your friends. And, changing games is as easy as changing channels."

The current offer - which applies to all BT Broadband and Infinity customers - is set to run until May 31st 2012.
