BT has refreshed a number of its home broadband packages, and is now offering shopping vouchers worth up to £60 to new customers.

The service provider's Broadband, Unlimited Broadband and Unlimited Broadband Extra packages now come with a free £40 Sainsbury's gift certificate.

And new customers signing up for the BT Infinity 1, Unlimited Infinity 1 and Unlimited Infinity 2 fibre packages are entitled to a £60 voucher when they join.

BT is running the Sainsbury's voucher offer until Saturday September 28th 2013 to new customers subscribing for a broadband deal online.

Of the ADSL packages, Unlimited Broadband Extra is one of the most attractive options.

The broadband package - which offers up to 16Mb download speeds, an unlimited monthly usage allowance and weekend calls to UK landlines - is free for the first six months.

With the broadband deal normally costing £21 per month plus line rental, customers can save £126 on internet and calls during the introductory contract period.

BT Unlimited Broadband Extra also offers a free connection, a Home Hub 4 router, BT SmartTalk, BT Family Protection, 50GB BT Cloud, BT NetProtect Plus, unlimited Wi-Fi services and access to the BT Sport app and online player.

Customers are required to sign up on an 18-month contract, with line rental applying from the first month.

In terms of BT's fibre broadband deals, BT Infinity 1 - which offers up to 38Mb downloads and 9.5Mb upload speeds with a 40GB usage allowance - is priced at £15 per month plus line rental.

The next package up - Unlimited BT Infinity 1 - offers the same download speeds and an unrestricted data allowance at £23 per month plus line rental. But with this broadband deal, subscribers receive three months at a discounted rate.

During the introductory period, customers pay just £16 per month plus line rental.

The super-fast broadband deal comes with weekend calls, a free router and a free connection, plus a range of other add-ons including BT Sport access, unlimited Wi-Fi and 2GB BT Cloud.
