harlequins northampton rugby

BT Sport viewers have three more live Aviva Premiership rugby union matches to look forward to this weekend.

Harlequins v Northampton Saints leads the line-up on Friday September 13th (7:45pm kick-off), as the two sides look to build on successful starts to their respective campaigns.

Jim Mallinder's Northampton cruised to a 38-11 win against Exeter in Week 1, while Quins edged out London rivals Wasps by the odd point (15-16) at Twickenham.

Both sides qualified for the end of season play-offs in 2012-13, with Harlequins claiming third place in the league table on 69 points, four ahead of fourth placed Northampton.

Ultimately, it was the Saints who made the final however, where they lost out 31-17 to Leicester Tigers at the national stadium.

This week's encounter at The Stoop may offer an early insight into whether either side has what it takes to mount a title challenge in 2013-14.

BT Sport viewers also have two other live Aviva Premiership games to look forward to at the weekend.

On Saturday September 14th, viewers can tune into Bath Rugby v Leicester Tigers (3:15pm KO), with Saracens v Gloucester Rugby to be broadcast live on Sunday September 15th (2pm KO).
