BT Vision customers will be entitled to a free upgrade to a new YouView box as parts of the platform are to be switched off.

BBC iPlayer will no longer be available on BT Vision from April 28th, while customers will no longer be able to access PSB free-to-air HD channels from May 31st.

On demand services for ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 will no longer be available on BT Vision from the same day.

However, existing customers with a BT Vision account will be given the opportunity to switch to a new YouView box free of charge.

Subscribers will receive an invitation via email, letter and messages through their BT Vision box.
