One Call’s LiveDrive policies use a telematics device or app to track your driving activity with the aim of rewarding you for careful driving.
One Call will arrange for a small telematics device to be fitted to your car to monitor your driving. The 'black box' will be installed for free by a professional, at a time to suit you. Eligible customers may use the free One Call LiveDrive smartphone app (for Apple and Android) in place of a hard-wired telematics device.
Black box provider
Black box, also known as telematics and pay-as-you-go car insurance, involves having a small device fitted to your car or using an insurer's app on your smartphone.
This black box or app tracks your mileage as well as things like acceleration, braking, cornering and journey time, which allows insurers to take these factors into account when working out the cost of your premiums.
Features of the OneCall LiveDrive policy:
