Sorry Apple fans, but looks like it won’t be white Christmas for you after all, as Apple has officially delayed its release till next spring.
An Apple spokesperson told Digital Daily: “We’re sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone yet again, but we’ve decided to delay its release until this spring.”
The white iPhone 4 is fast becoming the Duke Nukem of smartphones, with numerous delays due to manufacturing issues ranging from dodgy frames to picking the right paint to achieve the elusive white complexion. We suggested using Dulux, but Apple has yet to get back to us on that.
Call us conspiracy nuts, but we think this sudden confirmation could well be a reaction to yesterday’s leaked white iPhone 4 reservations in the Apple Store iPhone application.
It wouldn’t surprise us the least if Apple made a U-turn next month and announced a Christmas release date on its own terms. So don't give up hope just yet.
