Snaps of what’s claimed to be a complete front panel for the white iPhone 5 have surfaced online, revealing a bigger screen amongst other things.
Uncovered by UBreakiFix courtesy of one of its distributors, the photos show what appears to be a taller front section of the next-gen kit, featuring what we’re told is a four-inch display, as had been rumoured around-the-clock lately.
A view of the inner-facing side reveals the LCD screen. We can also see the front-facing camera now placed smack bang in the middle, most likely to make it easier to align your face when making video calls.
Alas, not much else stands out. A serial number is visible but gives nothing in the way of confirming this is the iPhone 5. So for all we know, it could just be an elaborate fake.
Still, it won’t be much longer before we find out for sure. Apple is expected to officially lift the lid on the iPhone 5 on September 12th with a possible release date on September 21st.
Aside from a larger display, other features mooted to be on board the hotly anticipated handset include a quad-core processor, an improved eight-megapixel camera, 4G capabilities and possibly NFC support too.
