The iPhone 6 has made another appearance on China’s Weibo social network. But this time the leaked pics don’t come from supply-chain sources, but a Taiwanese racing driver-cum-pop-singer.
Jimmy Lin has a bit of previous when it comes to touting new Apple kit. In the past few years he’s shown off accurate dummy models of the iPhone 5, iPhone 5C and iPad Mini.
Now he’s back with what looks like a mock-up of the 4.7–inch iPhone 6. The design looks very similar to other unofficial shots, with an iPad–style design and the power and volume controls in the right place.
Lin’s leak is just the latest in a series of high profile slippages, which suggest Apple is struggling to keep its supply chain locked down.
Back plates and design drawings are now easily accessible for iPhone fans to drool over.
The iPhone 6 is due out in September, with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models planned.
