iPhone 6 embedded logo appears again

A new snap of the Apple logo to be used in the next-gen iPhone has surfaced online, adding weight to talk that the company's corporate insigna will be more robust this time around.

The part is thought to be made from a scratch-resistant liquid metal alloy, which means it wouldn’t pick up marks like the one found on currently available iPhone models.

Its existence puts paid to any final hopes that the cut-out space on the iPhone 6’s rear shell could be used for a light up notification logo. Rumours abounded earlier this summer about such plans.

The leak comes on another busy day for the iPhone 6 rumour mill. We now know more about Apple’s plans for its camera, with a tweaked True Tone flash starring in its own spy shot.

The iPhone 6 is set for a September 9th launch. Apple is yet to confirm the date, despite top level media outlets in the U.S. revealing the plans last week.
