Apple’s iPhone 8 is now just weeks away from launch. And serial mobile leaker Evan Blass has given the world another close look at what to expect, thanks to a leaked case pic.
The image shows what appears to be a rugged case, with cutouts for volume and power keys, wrapped around a new iPhone 8.
There is the now familiar cutout at the top for camera and infrared sensors, with no home button at the bottom. Apple is said to be lining up a new ‘home indicator’ which will acts as a virtual home key, with other controls next to it depending on what app is open.
Blass has a strong track record with Apple leaks, meaning this is likely the closest we’ve seen yet of Apple’s planned handset.
Other iPhone 8 features are believed to include a virtual dual lens camera, 3D facial recognition and 4K front–facing video smarts. The phone is due for launch in September.
