ISP Eclipse urges customers to switch broadband providers
Posted 20th July 2009 at 4:52pm by Oliver Folkard
Business broadband provider Eclipse has launched a new promotion to encourage firms to switch from Pipex and Nildram.
Following the acquisition of Tiscali by Carphone Warehouse, the internet service provider hopes to win small business customers from its rival firms with a £50 cashback scheme.
The credit is available to all those migrating from Pipex and Nildram - both of which are now part of the Carphone Warehouse family of broadband suppliers - before July 31st.
It is available on a range of packages, each of which are designed with different features to cater for small and medium-sized businesses.
Eclipse has made the credit available to those companies signing up to its Business Bronze, Business Silver or Business Gold broadband deals.
It said: "There's no need to cancel your existing connection, just ask them for your MAC (Migration Authorisation Code) and input this when you order, we'll do the rest."
Last month, money.co.uk urged customers considering switching broadband providers to take into account all fees, including one-off connection or installation costs.
