Leading internet service provider Be Broadband has announced a new scheme which will see it meet with customers from across the UK.

The company is holding its first ever Be Social events to meet with broadband subscribers.

According to the broadband provider, the first of these events will take place at Revolution in Manchester on Thursday September 10th.

People wishing to attend the meet-up need to register and apply for a ticket through Be's website.

The broadband provider said: "It's going to be an informal meet-up to involve you in our plans for the next 12 months, to get feedback on current service and have some fun meeting new people."

Be recently informed customers it was performing routine maintenance work on their routers and automatically updating passwords after being made aware of a potential security issue.

The firm told customers resetting the password will prevent these problems occurring.
