A new microSIM deal for use with the iPad has been introduced by Vodafone, according to reports.

Gadgetvenue.com said Vodafone has added a new 3GB data plan for £15 a month to the range of deals it announced earlier this week.

The deal is based on a 30-day contract, meaning that iPad users are not tied into a long-term agreement that lasts for 12 months or more.

Vodafone has revealed that the microSIM is free to acquire, but subscribers need to highlight which data plan they need.

Earlier this week, O2 confirmed it is offering a 500MB data plan for £2, while its 1GB and 3GB monthly deals are also set to be available for £10 and £15 respectively.

Each of the offerings includes unlimited Wi-Fi access from BT Openzone and The Cloud hotspots, while customers can be notified about when their deals are coming to an end directly through the iPad.
