The popularity of Sky's broadband bundles continued to increase during the second quarter of 2010, latest subscription figures suggest.
According to the satellite TV, phone and internet service provider, it now possesses a total of 2,624,000 broadband users.
This represents a 119,000 increase on the first quarter of the year, pointing to higher adoption rates for Sky's various broadband packages.
The rate of growth also exceeded that witnessed between January and March 2010, when the total number of subscribers increased by 101,000.
Sky Chief Executive Jeremy Darroch said the company had enjoyed "another good quarter", with consumers choosing Sky in "ever greater numbers".
"Customers are choosing broader bundles of services, with one in five now taking all three of TV, broadband and telephony," he stated.
"Overall, customers are taking 45 per cent more additional subscription products than a year ago."
Earlier this week, it was announced that Sky Broadband is to sponsor films shown on the Channel 4 network for the next 12 months.
