Tesco Mobile customers are being given an added incentive to sign up for the firm's home broadband and phone service.

Customers with a mobile subscription for the supermarket giant are now being offered 12 months' free home broadband and calls when they also take out line rental with the firm.

As reported by ISPreview.co.uk, this gives consumers the chance to save £6.50 on their monthly broadband costs.

All Tesco Mobile customers - including pay monthly, pay-as-you-go and SIM-only users - are entitled to take advantage of the new deal.

They simply need to commit to Tesco's £13.75 per month line rental service in order to qualify for free home broadband and calls.

Consumers have until the end of 2012 to take advantage of the broadband offer.

With Tesco Broadband with Inclusive Evening and Weekend Calls, consumers can download at a rate of up to 20Mb - although the 'typical' connection speed is 14Mb.

Consumers also have access to an unlimited usage allowance, albeit governed by Tesco's fair usage policy.

The broadband deal includes a free wireless broadband router, while subscribers can also take advantage of inclusive evening and weekend calls to UK landlines.

New subscribers signing up for a year are also entitled to a free set-up - saving £40 on the standard start-up costs.

And as an added bonus, Tesco customers receive three Clubcard points for every £1 they spend on broadband and home phone services.

"The points will be awarded on a monthly basis to your Clubcard account and will be visible on your monthly bill and quarterly Clubcard statement, making your service even more rewarding," Tesco stated.
