UK households can now take advantage of three months' half-price super-fast broadband when signing up with Sky.

The broadband provider is offering an introductory 50 per cent discount on its Sky Fibre Unlimited with Sky Talk Weekends deal, reports ISPreview.co.uk.

Consumers can sign up for the broadband package - priced at £10 per month for the first three months - with a new or existing Sky television deal.

They are able to download at speeds of up to 38Mb, and take advantage of an unlimited monthly usage allowance.

Sky says this is "ideal for busy homes with very heavy internet demands".

New customers also receive inclusive weekend calls to UK landlines, although this can be upgraded to anytime calls for another £5 per month.

The broadband deal comes with a free Sky Hub worth £69, which Sky describes as its "best ever" wireless router.

Customers can also take advantage of unlimited free minutes at The Cloud's Wi-Fi hotspots around the UK, enabling them to get online while out and about.

Connection is free, enabling households to get started with super-fast broadband with the minimum outlay.

After three months, the cost of Sky Fibre Unlimited with Sky Talk Weekends reverts to £20 per month plus a £14.50 line rental fee.

"With over ten million customers enjoying our products, from Sky Broadband and Talk, to TV and innovative ways to watch like Sky Go, we take pride in what we do," the broadband provider stated.

"We’re always looking to make things even better."
