TalkTalk's YouView customers are being treated to a new film every day until January 5th.

The firm's 12 Days of Christmas offer sees customers given access to a different movie premiere each day through TalkTalk Player.

"Everyone has a favourite Christmas movie, so we’ve made sure that there are films to suit everyone," said Tristia Clarke, Commercial Director at the firm.

These include Christmas classic 'Home Alone', family favourite 'Night at the Museum' and children’s choice 'Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs'.

"Brought to you via LOVEFiLM BOX OFFICE, the 12 Days of Christmas is just one of many great offers with which we’re rewarding our customers," she noted.

Ms Clarke explained that customers have two days to watch each film, and they can re-watch them as many times as they like during this period.

"So if you just don’t want to let go of that Christmas spirit, you’ll have a whole selection of festive films just a click away," she stated.

Ms Clarke added that, since the launch of TalkTalk YouView in the autumn, the broadband and TV provider has made it its mission to provide "excellent content".

An example of this was showing the Ricky Hatton comeback fight live last month - and making the bout free-to-air to all YouView subscribers.

She described YouView as "a fantastic TV experience", which gives viewers even more power to control what they watch and when they watch it.

"We’ve also made sure that it makes watching your favourite shows and films as easy as possible," Ms Clarke said.

"As well as regular rewards for our customers, it has hundreds of channels available on-demand and movie bundles you can subscribe to on a monthly basis."

A YouView set-top box - which retails at £299 on the high street - is available for free to all households signing up for the TalkTalk Plus TV broadband deal.

According to the firm, TalkTalk engineers have been activating 1,000 boxes every day since the service launched, such has been the demand from the UK public.
