TalkTalk is giving UK households the chance to save money on ADSL and fibre broadband when taken with home phone services.

The service provider is now offering nine months' half-price on its ADSL TalkTalk Essentials broadband package, and three months' free on TalkTalk Medium Fibre.

As such, consumers currently have money-saving options for both high-speed and super-fast broadband when signing up with TalkTalk.

The firm's entry-level ADSL broadband package - TalkTalk Essentials - offers up to 14Mb download speeds, an unlimited monthly usage allowance and a free wireless router and connection.

Evening and weekend calls to UK landlines are also included as part of the deal, while online subscribers are also entitled to a free £25 Love2shop voucher.

The broadband deal is ordinarily priced at £6.50 per month, but for the first nine months of a 12-month contract this is discounted to £3.25.

All customers are required to pay line rental from the first month of their deal - this costs £14.95 per month or the equivalent of £9.50 per month if paid 12 months' in advance.

Customers seeking faster download speeds may be interested in the TalkTalk Medium Fibre broadband deal, which offers up to 38Mb downloads with an unlimited monthly usage allowance.

Subscribers also receive a free wireless broadband router worth £45, a free installation worth £30, and a £25 Love2shop gift certificate.

The super-fast broadband deal is free for the first three months, costs £13.25 per month for the following nine months, and is priced at £16.50 per month thereafter.

As with TalkTalk Essentials, line rental applies from the start of the contract.

TalkTalk Large Fibre offers even faster downloads for those with the need for speed - up to 76Mb alongside an unlimited monthly usage allowance.

A free wireless router, free activation and shopping voucher are again included with the deal, which TalkTalk says is ideal for households with multiple broadband users.

This higher-tier broadband deal is initially priced at £8.25 per month, rising to £18.25 for the next six months and £21.50 thereafter - plus line rental.
