BT has boosted the appeal of a number of its broadband packages with a special £40 Next voucher offer.

UK consumers signing up for BT deals - including Unlimited Broadband & Calls - can use the gift certificate to make savings at the high street fashion chain.

The £40 Next voucher is in addition to the Sainsbury's gift card already on offer to new BT customers. New ADSL subscribers can get their hands on a £25 voucher for the supermarket chain, while those signing up for a BT Infinity fibre deal receive £50.

But what else do subscribers receive as part of their BT broadband package?

Households signing up for BT Unlimited Broadband & Calls can take advantage of up to 16Mb download speeds, with no restrictions on the amount of data they can download.

Unlimited weekend calls are also included, along with free Wi-Fi minutes and a wireless Home Hub 4, which allows users to get online via connected devices anywhere in the home.

A free connection is also included, ensuring new customers can get started with BT broadband without the usual set-up costs.

All BT broadband subscribers gain free access to BT Sport as part of their deal, allowing them to watch live Barclays Premier League football, Aviva Premiership rugby union, NBA basketball and much more.

Those with a BT TV subscription can watch BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2 and ESPN via their Vision+ or YouView set-top box, while all others have access via the BT Sport app and online player.

BT Unlimited Broadband & Calls is priced at £8 per month for the first six months, rising to £16 per month thereafter.

Line rental fees of £15.99 per month apply from the start of the 18-month contract, with subscribers able to save money by paying 12 months in advance.

UK households seeking super-fast broadband can also get their hands on a Next voucher and Sainsbury's gift card when signing up with BT fibre.

The special offer applies to a number of fibre broadband packages, including BT Infinity 1, which offers up to 38Mb download speeds with unlimited data.

Weekend calls, unlimited Wi-Fi, a BT Home Hub 5 and access to BT Sport are also included with the fibre broadband package, which is priced at £7.50 per month plus line rental, rising to £15 per month plus line rental thereafter.
