Consumers can take advantage of six months' half-price broadband when signing up for one of TalkTalk's super-fast fibre bundles over the internet.

A 50 per cent discount applies on both the Essentials TV and Plus TV packages when taken with Superpowered Fibre broadband.

TalkTalk Essentials with Superpowered Fibre offers up to 38Mb download speeds with an unlimited usage allowance.

Subscribers can also take advantage of evening and weekend calls to UK landlines and a free YouView set-top box, which offers Freeview channels, catch-up TV services and access to premium add-ons.

The fibre broadband package costs £9.25 per month plus line rental for the first six months, rising to £18.50 per month plus line rental thereafter.

TalkTalk Plus TV with Superpowered Fibre offers the same internet services, although subscribers can take advantage of anytime calls to UK landlines.

Consumers signing up for this package receive a larger YouView box worth £299, which allows TV viewers to record live content and store programmes to be watched at a later date.

The broadband deal is initially priced at £14.25 per month plus line rental, rising to £28.50 per month plus line rental after the introductory discount period.

As with TalkTalk Essentials, subscribers can access a range of premium TV boosts including Sky Sports and Sky Movies.

Viewers can bolt these packages on to their package for one month at a time, with no long-term commitment necessary.

As an added incentive to sign up for a TalkTalk super-fast broadband package, new customers receive a £100 Love2shop voucher.

This allows consumers to make savings at more than 20,000 high street stores, bars, restaurants and other attractions.

TalkTalk is running the half-price fibre broadband and £100 Love2shop voucher offer until August 21st.
