Consumers purchasing a Vodafone business dongle during May have the opportunity to save on their start-up costs.

The internet service provider has reduced the purchase price of its pay-as-you-go USB modem to £17.02 until the end of this month, excluding VAT.

Occasional business users, such as those who work flexibly, may be particularly interested in the mobile broadband offer.

Once in possession of their dongle, the user is charged a monthly rental fee of £2.56, plus £1.70 for each single day's 500MB usage.

If the owner has no use for mobile broadband during a particular month, they are required to pay only for rental, not usage.

Vodafone offers a two-year warranty on all mobile broadband modems, while PC protection and back-up services are also available at an extra cost.
