PlusNet unveils broadband for gamers
Posted 19th September 2007 at 4:26pm by Alex Buttle
Internet provider PlusNet has announced a new service that is customised for those who spend a lot of time playing online computer games.
Dubbed Broadband Your Way Pro, the new service gives gaming traffic "the highest priority" so that users can get the most out of their online gaming.
To further improve the speed available, users of the service will be given the option to switch off interleaving.
Neil Armstrong, products director at PlusNet, said: "There's nothing worse than poor broadband connections when it comes to broadband gaming - in fact in some cases, during certain online games, it can make the difference between virtual life and death.
"We listened to our customers and gaming fans and have developed a service tailored to their specific needs."
Broadband Your Way Pro is available for £19.99 per month of a monthly contract.
