Eclipse offers tips to business broadband clients
Posted 29th April 2008 at 1:36pm by Alex Buttle
UK internet service provider (ISP) Eclipse has launched a new service allowing potential clients to contact an adviser directly.
The Expert Advice service is hosted on the firm's website and promises live one-to-one communication with an employee.
Other means of communication are still available, such as emailing or calling the company.
But Eclipse's Mark Thomas argues that the new service is advantageous as it allows for an immediate response without a call or email being made.
"Many small businesses want to buy broadband and other internet services online because of the convenience and cost benefits it offers," he says.
"However, they sometimes need further information about the benefits of services such as managed server hosting."
Eclipse Internet asserts that it is currently the fastest growing ISP for business customers in the UK.
The company adds that 80 per cent of new users sign up to its service after receiving a personal recommendation from an existing customer.
