Posted 6th May 2008 at 1:15pm by Alex Buttle
Mobile broadband provider O2 will now offer its customers a new modem based on an award-winning design.
The Novatel Wireless Ovation MC930D USB modem will provide customers with a fast and reliable method to connect to mobile broadband services provided by O2, the manufacturer has stated.
"With the launch of O2 Mobile Broadband and the success of our home broadband service we can now deliver to customers a high-quality internet experience at home and on the move," said Ian Clarke, devices and solutions Director of O2 UK.
He added that the new Novatel modem would play an important part in furthering this service, providing users with a fast, secure and stylish way to connect while at home or outside.
The company launched its mobile broadband packages, which include a 3GB usage allowance and 24-hour customer support, late last month to existing mobile phone customers. Commenting on the launch, the firm stated that consumer satisfaction was a key priority in developing the products.
