Owners of the Sony PSP are to be treated to a whole host of football action via broadband after a new distribution deal was struck.
The handheld device is used by many to view content delivered by broadband with its in-built Wi-Fi capabilities.
Now an agreement has been reached with the PSP's On Demand video service Go!View and Sky Sports to show footage from English Premier League fixtures.
Highlights programmes lasting 45 minutes will be available covering games which have been shown on the network.
PSP gamers are required to sign up to Sky Sports' subscription service, which also offers owners of the games console a number of other sports packages delivered via broadband including cricket, golf, boxing and extreme sports.
There is a charge of £5 to £10 for a monthly subscription, depending on the number of packages customers opt for.
