O2 laptops launched today
Posted 27th February 2009 at 4:00pm by Alex Buttle
O2 has launched its new range of laptop broadband offers.
The Samsung NC10 and the Samsung R510 make up part of O2's new mobile broadband packages, targeting customers looking for long-term deals.
Both machines are free when purchased as part of two-year contracts - £30 per month for a 3GB download allowance and £40 for 10GB.
Deals come with unlimited free access to O2 Cloud wireless broadband zones and the provider claims the laptops possess the advantages of the three S's - style, substance, staying power, security and service.
Speaking to Mobile News, an employee at one of the O2 stores now selling the products claimed that the deals are a welcome arrival.
The unnamed staff member is quoted as saying: "We have been at a disadvantage regarding sales of mobile broadband for a long time, but we can now finally compete with the rest of the high street."
