TalkTalk price changes
Posted 30th March 2009 at 10:00am by Alex Buttle
TalkTalk has made some changes which could affect the pricing plans of its home broadband customers.
The broadband ISP says that the alterations are necessary in order to compensate for higher charges for the use of BT's network.
Those who currently enjoy line rental as part of their TalkTalk deal will see their monthly payment go up from £10.50.
In a statement published on Broadband Choices, the company said that the changes were necessary.
"Due to the changes BT announced at the start of the year, TalkTalk is now making changes to pricing and the overall product to maintain their value proposition in the market," TalkTalk told the broadband comparison website.
The cost of making daytime calls through TalkTalk will rise to 4.5p per minute from April 1st. On the plus side, many price plans will not charge callers for dialling 0870 and 0845 numbers from June 1st.

On the help side of TalkTalk, I find it very good. The only problem I find is that some technicians speak too quickly. And if they have an accent, it adds to the confusion.

I had a guy called Mike the other day who spoke BBC 1930s English and I just had to give him 10 out of 10.
