Business broadband customers could benefit from a free O2 USB modem as part of a new deal from Avenir Telecom.
The business-to-business telecoms distributor has announced a new initiative which will give each of its clients a free O2 mobile broadband USB modem.
Worth around £29, the E160 modem is compatible with both PCs and Macs and can provide connection speeds of up to 3.6Mb.
Based on a pay as you go system, the modems will be pre-loaded with a certain amount of access time to allow customers to trial the instant-access broadband service.
Ben Dowd, O2 Business Sales Director, commented on the potential growth of the business broadband market and said: "Mobile broadband provides business with an ideal opportunity to mobilise workforces."
"During an economic downturn companies who seize opportunities to change the way they work can come out fighting at the end," he added.
"This offer by Avenir, our top performing Distribution Partner for 2008, provides companies with a no-cost opportunity to try our award-winning mobile broadband service and see what efficiencies a service like this can drive."
