Free super-fast broadband for competition winners
Posted 12th June 2009 at 3:45pm by Oliver Folkard
ask4 has given a group of five competition winners from Sheffield the chance to try out super-fast broadband free of charge.
The student and residential broadband provider offered entrants to the competition the chance to test its new 'Daddy of all Broadband' product, the Sheffield Telegraph reported.
It can deliver speeds of up to 60Mb, which is currently the UK's fastest residential broadband.
Those who entered the competition were existing customers and also those taking part in a free trial. The winners will now trial the connection for three months, totally free of charge.
Jonathan Hudson, Chairman of ask4, told the newspaper: "As a company we are thrilled to be offering our customers this great service for free. This coupled with ask4 providing the fastest student broadband puts the company in a very strong position in the telecommunications market."
Formed in 2000, ask4 provides internet access for various multiple tenanted unit developments across the UK.
