Strategic Imperatives to help TalkTalk deliver WLR3
Posted 12th June 2009 at 11:07am by Oliver Folkard
Strategic Imperatives (SI) has been chosen by TalkTalk to help deliver Wholesale Line Rental 3 (WLR3) capability across the broadband provider's business.
The virtual network solutions provider announced earlier this week that it has been selected as the strategic partner for the group.
TalkTalk's WLR3 platform will be based on SI's Evo21 Openreach Integration framework and the company will help to manage and deliver it.
A number of UK-based telecoms providers already use the framework to help them get the most out of next-gen communication products from Openreach.
Gordon Perry, IS Director, TalkTalk Group, said that WLR3 is "an essential product" in TalkTalk's portfolio.
Mr Perry added: "Our choice of Strategic Imperatives was based on their proven experience in delivering WLR3 solutions and their demonstrable capability in providing an integrated technical solution with an innovative roadmap and commitment to the highest levels of service delivery."
