TalkTalk promotes cheap broadband deals with shoot ‘em up
Posted 24th June 2009 at 11:41am by Jonathan Leggett
To celebrate the ongoing success of its Essentials home phone and broadband deal, the ISP has launched a natty online game and competition. Taking the form of a shoot ‘em up, players are tasked with unleashing a torrent of hot lead at the company’s current range of broadband packages.
If you’re lucky enough to rack up the highest score, you’ll bag yourself £400 of vouchers. And there’s £150 each on offer for players who finish between second and fifth in the rankings.

But even if you don’t perform well enough to earn yourself a spending spree, it’s still worth remembering that you might still be able to save some money with TalkTalk’s range of cut-price broadband offers.
At just £6.49, plus £11.49 per month line rental, for instance, the Essentials package promises a connection of up to 8Mb and a monthly download limit of 40Mb. Better still, as part of an exclusive online offer in conjunction with Top 10 Broadband, you can even bag yourself a free wireless router, too.
