The laptop, dubbed the Nokia Booklet 3G netbook, was first unveiled last week. Not surprisingly, it was the subject of much covetous ooh-ing and ah-ing in the tech press over its integrated assisted GPS and HDMI for HD video output.

this is pretty awesome - it's like a cross between the new macbooks and the nokia 6300 - two of my favourite tech designs in the last few years. By the way, the nokia 6300 (and it's new follow-on, the 6700 classic are both much nicer and more usable phones than the iphone - i know that's off the point but i think Nokia are under-rated in terms of product design and usability.

They just haven't got a decent computer / phone hybrid yet (which is what the iphone is - it does the phone badly and the computer brilliantly). Look forward to being able to pick up one of these things with a mobile broadband contract, then i might actually be able to afford it!! Cheers
