Nokia 3G broadband laptop: more specs revealed

The laptop, dubbed the Nokia Booklet 3G netbook, was first unveiled last week. Not surprisingly, it was the subject of much covetous ooh-ing and ah-ing in the tech press over its integrated assisted GPS and HDMI for HD video output.

Now further details have emerged. And, for us at least, device is now looking even more impressive. You can view the full specifications below:

A price point of around £500 is anticipated. However, we fancy this’ll come down substantially when mobile broadband providers start offering the Nokia Booklet on contract deals. We’ll bring you more news just as soon as we hear it.

this is pretty awesome - it's like a cross between the new macbooks and the nokia 6300 - two of my favourite tech designs in the last few years. By the way, the nokia 6300 (and it's new follow-on, the 6700 classic are both much nicer and more usable phones than the iphone - i know that's off the point but i think Nokia are under-rated in terms of product design and usability.

They just haven't got a decent computer / phone hybrid yet (which is what the iphone is - it does the phone badly and the computer brilliantly). Look forward to being able to pick up one of these things with a mobile broadband contract, then i might actually be able to afford it!! Cheers
