T-Mobile merger to kill Orange cinema ads?
News

Not heard of him? You’ll know his face. Brown plays the clueless movie exec in the Orange Wednesday ads in which artistes’ pitches are ripped to shreds by the money men. In that time, we’ve seen him trade rhymes with Snoop Dogg and leave John Cleese tearing out what remains of his hair with his suggested script modifications.

The campaign and the idea have been with us a remarkable nine years. But with the merging firms pledging to keep their branding for 18 months, it looks like the ads could be on the way out sooner rather than later.
