Spare the rod, spoil the Wi-Fi signal
Posted 6th October 2009 at 2:06pm by Jonathan Leggett
Created by the mysterious Miket, the brilliantly facetious blurb for the device claims that it simplifies looking for a signal for people who are baffled by the “ultra small, ultra portable, metallic or white” gadgets currently on the market.

This non-existent demographic will also appreciate the “centuries old technology” as well as the “simple shape and natural materials” employed in the diving rod, according to Miket.
Hoax? We’re not certain. But we are sure that we love this natty slice of retro-modernity. Even so, for now we’ll be sticking with our uber-nerdy wi-fi detecting T-Shirt from the good folks at ThinkGeek.

Far more stylish, I’m sure you’ll agree.
