Be Broadband to launch line bonding service
Posted 13th January 2010 at 10:59am by Ewan Taylor-Gibson
Be Broadband has announced plans to launch a new line bonding service.
Tom Williams, Head of Operations at the internet service provider, noted that from February two broadband connections will be used to act as a single faster connection.
He noted that the technology was successfully trialled last year and the firm has been working hard to ready it for the consumer market.
Writing in his company blog, Mr Williams stated: "On a 20Mb+ line, you should be able to get 40Mb + download and 5Mb upload that's pretty impressive if you compare with the rest.
"It also means that if you are on a long line length you'll be able to achieve around double your current speed life changing for some!"
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Be Broadband's Sam Filipov, who works at the 60K International Contact Centre, was named as one of the top professionals in his industry.
He was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Customer Service Agent at the ContactCenterWorld.com Awards in Las Vegas this month.
