Be celebrates customer service award

Be Broadband is celebrating after being highly recommended as part of a major customer service awards scheme.
The internet service provider has revealed it was given a silver medal as part of the Think Broadband Customer Rating Awards 2009, which were voted for by internet users across the UK.
In addition, Be's parent company O2 retained its top spot in the customer service awards scheme.
Tom Williams, Head of Operations at Be Broadband, said the company was particularly delighted with the win as it is based on the views of consumers.
He added: "We're continuing to work hard at improving our customer services, so to be recognised like this will encourage us to keep improving Be Broadband for the benefit of our members."
News of the award win has come after Be became the first UK provider to offer a sub-£8 broadband service with no traffic shaping.
Its revamped Value package is available at £7.50 a month and includes a download allowance of 40GB.
