Due to be unveiled at the CES beano later this week, the N210, N220, N150 and NB30 netbooks are all powered by Intel’s white-hot Intel Atom N450 processor. And rather winningly, they all feature anti-reflective LED displays which apparently “fine tune movies and images with the sharpest details and boldest colors, with no mirror effect under bright lights or in sunny weather”.

Battery life of the new range is another strong suit. The N150 and NB30, for instance, offer up to eight hours use on a full charge – enough for a full day of work, then. Meanwhile, the higher end numbers N210 and N220 apparently feature batteries with a whopping a 12 hour life - good if you're putting in an epic shift.

Samsung has even spared a thought for the clumsy among us. All the new netbooks are equipped with a scratch-resistant durable casing to reduce the risk of damage. There's also a natty sensor that protects data by “automatically parking the HDD if it senses the netbook dropping”. Clever, eh?
All the new netbooks are being launched Asia and in the US this month. Alas, there's no confirmation of a UK release yet. But keep checking back here and we'll be sure to fill you in just as soon as we hear...
