O2 to offer broadband and home phone deals
Posted 15th January 2010 at 2:44pm by Ewan Taylor-Gibson
A new home phone offering is set to be launched by O2 in March, the broadband provider has confirmed.
Expected to be exclusively available to its broadband customers, it is hoped the launch of the Evening & Weekend and Anytime home phone deals will allow the company to boost its share of the internet market.
According to the company, its standard broadband package will be available with the Evening & Weekend package for just £17 a month, including line rental.
Sally Cowdry, UK Marketing Director of O2, described the launch as its most important since it entered the broadband market.
She added: "We know how many of our customers value the convenience of paying for their home phone and broadband together with no hidden extra costs, and we will be bringing the same commitment to quality of service with our home phone service as we have successfully established with broadband."
News of the launch has come after the company also cut the price of several of its mobile broadband products.
