Eclipse upgrades usage allowance on broadband packages
Posted 12th March 2010 at 11:00am by Ewan Taylor-Gibson
UK ISP Eclipse Internet has doubled the usage limits for both its home and business broadband packages.
The internet service provider has refreshed its broadband deals to offer 10GB for Home Office users, 50GB for those on the Business Bronze deal and 100GB for Business Silver subscribers.
Eclipse's Business Gold broadband package retains an unlimited usage allowance.
Clodagh Murphy, Director of the ISP, said Eclipse had increased the limits in response to changes in online consumer behaviour, and to reflect the fact that the majority of its customers are running small businesses either from offices or from home.
She commented: "All our teams, from customer service to marketing to technical support are based on a single site, making it much easier for us to respond quickly to the changing needs of our customers, be that higher usage, backup and hosting services or ecommerce."
SimplicITy Computers, which markets a PC targeted at older people, recently named Eclipse Internet as its recommended broadband provider.
