O2 offering 3 months' free broadband

UK-based internet service provider (ISP) O2 is offering a major financial incentive to consumers subscribing to its fixed-line broadband packages.
The broadband provider is now offering three months worth of free web services to new customers, creating the opportunity for significant initial savings.
Consumers subscribing to the firm's Standard, Premium and Pro broadband packages can take advantage of the offer, which includes an upgraded wireless router, a static IP address, free web texts and security software licences.
O2 Broadband Standard, available for £12.50 per month for non-O2 customers joining the broadband provider, offers download speeds of up to 8Mb.
The Premium and Pro packages, which provide 20Mb web access, are available for £15 and £22.50 per month to consumers seeking the three months' free deal.
Last week, O2's broadband services came top of a new consumer satisfaction poll conducted by JD Power and Associates.
The ISP proved most popular among consumers for both fixed and mobile broadband services.
